JSR 168 Solution for Public Opinion Poll Results: SyncEx Poll Portlet

SyncEx Poll Portlet is a voting application to take the public opinion. Poll portlet provides users with scientifically sampled survey to assess public opinion. The Poll Portlet effectively uses portal's customization and personalization features. It provides an end user to customize the results shown.

Poll administrators can easily add and delete the poll topics. They can customize portlet to change the result title, reorder the poll options and can also specify whether the user can select multiple options.

A poll is scheduled to open and close at given times. Administrators can also view previous poll results if they want to make use of this information for their statistical analysis. The configuration of portlet instance determines what poll is to be shown in the portlet.
